I found it hard to find Photos of the 60cm Morser let alone the 54cm. Would also be glad to know where I could find some.
Wayne I enjoy getting older, especially when I consider the alternative.

I saw a couple in a book I borrowed from the library called encyclopedia of German AFV's or something. Not sure whether it was a 54 or 60. They weren't great photos either...

I have that book Phroosh! and you are right the pics are not that good, there are pics of both the 54cm and the 60cm, but nothing that can be used as reference.

Chris : heres a link from the 1/35th site , there may be a few 54cm pics on it , the karl morters barrels were interchangable,( between the 54 and 60 cm) if I am not correct , they only lasted around 60 to 70 shots anyways then were discarded , ( they just got worn out from the shell weight I suppose )anyways heres the link , I hope it helps a bit ! http://www.one35th.com/morser/karl_main.htm

Thanks Spector. Some cool pictrues too. At least got a few ideas and heads ups from them. Sounds like it would have been alot of trouble to operate this thing with the few shots you could get off and changing the barrels that often.

Chris, "The Encyclopedia of German Armor" by Doyle and Chamberlain has two photos of them. One is of Thor the other is of Loki. Thor is in firing position and Loki is in travel mode. That's all I can find of them.
