If you can't get a replacement set, you can try to sew them back together with needle and thread. Of course then you have to hide the thread with a little creative weathering.

It doesn't hurt to see if Airfix will replace them. They are a nice English company. Check to see if they have a website and write their customer service.

Maybe the tracks were just defective, but if the replacements are hard too, soak them in hot water for a while before you put them on. Good luck.

Les, Sorry, but I don't know of anybody that sell AM tracks for 1/72. You might have wind up buying another kit and using the tracks from it. Revell kits are fairly inexpensive. And the Hasagewa kits seem to be pretty low right now, too. Of course, it's possible that tracks from another manufacturer won't fit the Airfix kit. Maybe someone else out here knows more than I do. Sorry I'm not more help.

Panther tracks

Hello,

I just finished building a 1/72 Panther from Airfix. (My first model with Airfix.) I had problem putting on the tracks as they were quite "hard", not as flexible as some other makes. Unfortunately, while trying to put the tracks on, I snapped one of them in two. Sad [:(]

May I know where I can buy better tracks for my Panther? (Other than going back to Airfix for a replacement?)

Thanks.
