I watch the show alot and do agree that the host are about as annoying as a bumble bee in your shorts. The guy spends alot of time telling you how skilled he is and all the dangers he laughs in the face of. The evil side of me would love to see his air lines catch on something and watch the water around him turn yellow.

That is a good show with annoying hosts-the show on the B29 in the Nevada lake was cool.

I know what you mean. The guy was annoying, but it was sort of like watching the superbowl for the commercials. Some really cool bits interspersed with some annoying stuff.

More like Dieppe Sea Defectives Eric.

I was more interested in the background info and footage than the series host. And the one military historian they brought in, needs to learn to sit still in a chair when they interview him. Not only did he keep moving back and forth (which I'm sure was making the cameraman go insane) but it was hard to understand him at times.

I was thinking about ordering the tape of this episode.

Yeah - Renarts, you're right - alot of time for Steve Z.

some nice graphics - nice story -

A little over dramatic, though,
Turns out thet already know where almost all of them are - and marked by GPS

Here's a couple of articles - it is interesting as hell, though

Pretty descent show - but the guy was annoying - and he already knew where they were. Makes you laugh when you see how they try to juice it up.

Question is.... was the word "Who" said more times in "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" or was "Duplex Drive" in this special? After the third commercial break where he again stated they were searching for a Duplex Drive Sherman, my wife yelled "Enough!" LOL

History Channel does it again. Tonight episode of Dep Sea Detectives had a nice hour long eppisode on looking for DD Shermans off the Normandy Coast.

While swimming about in the silt off the French Coast was kind of anticlimactic (big woo, bunch of barnacle and coral encrusted Shermans) the background info and the accompanying footage was priceless. Including shots of a Sherman rolling off the LST and advancing to the bottom. No doubt to offer infantry support to the fish storming the beach.

Steve Zaloga got lots of airtime.....
