                        About a hour ago, what sounded like a cinderblock thrown at my house was the postman dropping it on the porch.
                        What a book.
                        My jaw is still lying on the floor. Amazing.

                        There's no doubt my 1/16 Tiger is to be one of these. I guess I have to build a scale dog to go with it, for it doesn't seem to be a Tiger crew without one.

                        Thanks for the recommendation.

                        By the way for those who have no idea what this refers to....
                        It's 'The Combat History of Schwere Panzer Abteilung 503'. Has to be the most comprehensive Unit histroy I've ever seen. A lot of pictures I have never come across before.

                        yep! I told you didn't I.
                        So far its the best book on my book shelf.
                        The text is great, and the pics are even better.

                        I can recommend this book to all Tiger fans. It will tell you exactly how it was to use these tanks in combat.

                        LOL. probably included in the $200 kit. My guess is it would have about eighteen pieces and be fully functional. With biscuit clamps too.
