having nabbed Monty's last spanner, Fritz prepares to cycle it back to Rommel.
Until the Long Range Desert Group recaptured this vital instument of war, the
British offensive was stalled.

A million marks to make a tiger

Joy and happiness when rideing in it

Getting left behind with a hudge wrench to pedal your way through the desert with no suppies when you passed gas inside the tank.........Priceless.

This is Panzerkampwagon IIIV - developed in early 1945

At this time, the great german war machine was hurting for resources and factories to build them in. Here is a picture of the prototype in their remote desert testing area.

It was said the plan was to cause another revolution in warfare similiar to the "blitzkreig" did years earlier. It was said to incorparate the "boom-boom over the head warfare".

many of the features

......steel wheel rims for overland operations
......"Walmart" protective armor for the driver
......manual "Craftsman 32mm" weapon system
......manual "huffy drive" w/single speed transmission

Thank goodness this nasty weapon never made it past the prototype - who knows how it could have changed the outcome of the war !

It's late in 1950

And Hanz Fritzburg - after suffering severe head trama when he was thrown out of his tank at the battle of El Alemein carries on the German war effort in anyway possilble.

Here his shown on the outskirts of what he thinks is an enemy camp. I t was reported he bludgeoned seven National Geographic photographers doing a documentary on the African Desert Horny Toad.

This went on for years until later becoming a military advisor for Sadaam Hussein

Having received orders to take a 1/2 inch spanner for 'running repairs' to his bicycle, Dislexic messenger Fritz finally found a 21 inch spanner at the tank pool.
