Yeah that sounds like fun... I am like most others though..I have a TON on my plate right now. Nice thing is you can build an entire 1/144 panzer regiment for what one good 35th scale kit cost with PE and Tracks...Big Smile [:D]

Great idea...

You might be a "new guy" but your ideas and input are no less valuable than anyone elses! Welcome, and great idea. I bought kits 1 and 3 a couple of weeks ago, so I'm in. I've just never done scenery, before. Will be an interesting challenge for me!

I am certainly interested, especially seeing the little Panzer 38T the other day on the forum. Nice simple builds can break up the gruelling detail projects nicely.

Don't worry about posting ideas WWIIsoldier, I always want to hear new ideas and opinions, and I think I wouldn't be alone there.

That's the idea WWIIsoldier, come up with an idea and run with it. Looks as though you are sparking interest already.

You could probably scare up some interest with a Villers-Bocage dio. There seems to be some intrigue into the events of that particular battle and it often becomes a topic in the Forum.

This is not a bad idea at all! I'd like to do it! Might take me a while to get around to it, but I'll do it!! Sounds fun!

I was wondering, since we have all of these group builds going on, if someone wanted to do a 1/144 scale tank build with scenery. Not necessarily a diorama, but like a stretch of road or somthing, since the models themselves are rather small. Dragon released 8 different tank models in 1/144 scale now, and they are only 5.00 for 2. If anyone is interested in partaking in this event with me, please respond here. This doesnt have to be any formal thing, I think that when people are finished with their models, they can just post a picture and a summary about it in this thread. No big deal, maybe no deadline, may be just what some of us need to relieve the stress of the larger, more intricate models. Anyone up for it?

If you guys think that this is a bad idea, feel free to let me know that also...
