WATCH OUT for which paint you use. You have to use a water based like Tamiya or it will hav e achemical reaction to the tracks and not dry. IT gets really sticky and ruins them. Base coat them in tamiya, then paint away with your favorite colr. Bill

The tracks are steel when they are factory fresh. But for that great weathered look that everybody loves, it is best to paint them another color first. I use burn sienna dry brushed with steel and then a very dark colored wash.

I'm in the process of building dragons 1/72 Sd.Kfz 184 Ferdinand. And now its time to paint the tracks, the directions say to paint them steel. is this righ? Could somebody please help me. Black Eye [B)]
