I am building a jeep right now, and I would like to see some of yours so I can get an idea of what to expect as a turn out, and just because I know that lots of you have built them. I just dont think that the jeep gets the recognition it deserves. Afterall, it was one of the most inovative and usefull vehicles of it's time. Smile [:)]

I did this one a couple of years ago and I'm not to sure if I got the weathering right. I think it could use some more drybrushing.

Just some quick photos of the old Tamiya SAS Jeep in progress. Thinned out parts like the front bumper, rear bumperettes and transfer case guard. I used stretched sprue to fabricate the hose from the condensor to the radiator and the hood hold down latches. The Jeep was spray painted Testors Model Master Armor Sand.

Sorry for the poor quality photos.

Thundergod I keep putting mud on it but I just can't get that natural look, so I have to wash it off and start over.

lizardqing like I said I did it a couple of years ago before I really honed my skills, so I might have missed a few.

fightnjoe I don't know if that neat .50 cal comes with yours, I just might.

renarts no the plate came from a local company called SCF (State Correctional Facility)
