Thanks a bunch.

For the E100,
I heated the PE for the muzzle brake to get it to form around the muzzle brake. This E100 is the original kit. I haven't seen the new release. I just used a little putty to finish up whatever gaps there were on the muzzle brake. I don't remember them being that bad though.

For the M4A3E2,
There are no pictures of the work on the M4A3E2. Most of the scratchbuilding on it is limited to little details. And there are a lot of them on the suspension, the upper hull, and the turret. There's also lots of PE and Grant Line Bolts.

The BARV has completely rebuilt catwalks. I did not like the PE ones supplied with the kit, but other than that, the kit was very good for resin. Again, there is a pretty fair chunk of PE and Grant Line Bolts. (I need to buy stock in Grant Line!)

The kits are:

1. M4A3E2 by Tamiya

2. E100 by DML

3. BARV by Resicast

The M4A3E2 and the BARV have a pretty good chunk of scratchbuilding and PE on them.

The E100 is OOB.

Thanks for the compliments!

I haven't posted in quite awhile. Life caught up with me.

I did attend a contest back in early April. It's the first I've been to since at least 2002 and maybe even back to 2001 (I've slept since then, so I don't remember exactly).

Here's what came out of the show......
First in 1/35 WWII Allied Armor
Second in 1/35 WWII German Armor
Third in 1/35 WWII Allied Armor

Here's a few pics.
