Nichimo Tiger I , any experience?

Hi just recieved a 1:35 Nichimo Tiger I kit today that I got off ebay cheap. Has anyone built this kit? how was it? looks good in the box, cant wait to get going. it's rc but i think i will omit that and keep it staticSmile [:)]

Don't know anything about it, other than it's old. The only Nichimo kit I built was the Jagdpanzer IV many years ago. Far as I can recall, it was a nice fit, but the wheels were wrong.

I've seen a few built-up models, and as Tigerman mentioned, it's a very old kit with its fair share of inaccuracies. Not having built one, I can't comment on the fit or ease of build.

I built one of these back in the early 70's,& it had a moulded on zimmerit
finish that was pretty neat for the time! Kit does suffer from inaccuracies by
todays standards,but it was well moulded & assembled very easily.

I am going to build it at the same time as a Tamiya Tiger I , should be interesting to see how these kits differ.
