                        I decided recently to build a tank, weight it with lead, and use it as paperweight in my office. My criteria is simple: what tank simply LOOKS best- purposeful & predatory, sculptural, well proportioned. And my answer is: the Merkava Mk. I.
                        I love especially the turret- so Stars Wars. Curious as to what others may think?

                        personally I think the Tiger1 is best looking,

                        it was so ahead of its time when launched.

                        this is a pic of the only real working tiger1 in the world, which I went to see a few weeks ago..

                        The Japanese Type 74 MBT is the best-looking tank there is, in my opinion.

                        I like the way most of the German WWII stuff looks. I also like the Sherman M4A1. New stuff, the Abrams and the Challenger are cool. But my favorite...the JadgPanther with it's sleek, low profile lines. Almost aerodynamic!!

                        Personally, I love the look of the T-54/55 tanks. Graceful yet edgy lines, hanging tracks. Oh yeah, does it just right for me baby Smile [:)]

                        be sure to get somthing that doesn't ahve alot of small detail parts that can fall of when being moved across the desk. the model decsion is up to you.

                        Weii mine would be a Tiger, tiger2, panther,And lately the bread box shape of the jagdtiger. No other tank like it. I like the abrams and chally 2 as well.

                        The M1 Abrams or the Sherman (cast hull version).

                        The WWII German stuff looks okay, but it's hard to get past the fact that those things tried to kill my grandfather.

                        I would say the Panther for the ww2 era tanks, probably the M26 for the allies. Isnt it funny how the most effective weapons are often the best looking? ie spitfire, mustang etc.
