Looks great! I don’t know how you have the patients to complete such a huge build. I would be lucky to get it half way done before heaving it. Good luck with painting. That is a lot of surface to make mistakes on.Wink [;)]

Yes I will put it on tracks. I will use the tracks from the kit, and I will use the wooden things underneath the tracks from the kit, sleepers or ties or what ever you call them in english. But the ballast I will make myself, the kit ballast is just too ugly.

How did the build go? I have the DML Leopold but haven't even thought of starting it yet.

Dan

Thank you. The build went good, it had a few fit problems, but I expected that with such a big kit, nothing to serious.

Hmmm now I just have to figure out how to fit it in the spray booth. hmmmm

First off, It's thrilling to finally see some pics from Legoland. Thumbs Up [tup]

You have been BUSY, my friend. I see some PE there, is that included with the kit itself?
Absolutely beautiful! Can't wait for more progress shots.

Trumpeter 1/35 Leopold, progress pics.
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, June 19, 2004 1:18 PM
Ok here we go.
This is the Trumpeter 1/35th scale Leopold.

I am dry fitting all the major sub assemblies. If you see some gaps here and there ........... don't worry, I will take care of them when I glue the parts together.

It is ready for some paint now, and then I will add all the details.
