Tamiya 1/16 Progress Pic
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, June 20, 2004 2:19 AM
Hey everyone. I just completed the painting of the head of my figure. Thats all I got done, but it was a complex situation of blending and shading and adding blush and shades and whatnot. Pretty complex for just using acrylics. Thanks for looking all comments are welcomed!

Thank you everyone!

Sorry, it's a 1/16 US Infantryman. Here's the kit.

It's awsome! It comes with a camelback, plenty of equipment, night vision head setup, sand storm googles, and much more! My only complaint with this kit is that the legs and the torso are molded like 1/32 scale figures. They come in two halves, the front and back halves, which need to be glued and need to be seemless. But the detail is incredible! It also has the option of two poses, so not everyone's will look the same.

Looks great. I imagine that 1/16 is easier than 1/35 to paint. Maybe I might be able to handle that size.

Looks like a young Abe Lincoln. I admire your skill though. Figures are a toughie!
