All done, thinking of making a base for it now. Very happy how it turned out. Great little kit. Bill

Its a old hasagawa kit marketed by revel of germany. Completly stock except for the wire headlight guards. Great kit tracks were a little bit of a chalange, but everything else is top notch

great job!!! I love the look of a crusader!!! I did one not too long ago, and i liked th kit really well!!

just a quick observation, you don't have to act on it, but I like constructive criticism, I don't know if you do, but, I'll tell you anyway: the crusader had 2 antennas there on the turret.

like in here:

I never mind constructive critism. SInce i built OOB i just followed what was there. Heck, it could all be wrong and i wouldn't know. I tried finding some refrence material however i am woefully short of British Material. To much German Tiger and Panther, not enough british. LOL However you have adifferent varient posted on your picture. It has the machine gun mount up front where mine doesn't. I'll have to research some to get some more info.
Thanks bill

By Jove Cyril, someone is siphoning our gas tank!

Seriously, nice work Crossracer. Are you going to show it more weathered on the dio base - or are you going to use a plain base instead?

By the way Chris (M1) is correct re the aerials. The Mk I had only one aerial. The Mk II and Mk III had two as depicted due to the type of radio set up used. Go to http://www.wwiivehicles.com/html/unitedkingdom/cruiser_mk_vi_crusader.html for a clear pic of the desert vehicle showing both. That site also has a section on radios and the length of the aerials for each type used.
