My Centurion Mk V [so far]
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, June 24, 2004 2:54 PM
G'day Folks,

OK so I'll plead giulty with this, I'm one of the so called 'flyboys' this is one of my backward builds, it's an Aussie Mk V/I from the Vietnam era of the Australian involvement, the hull was a tamiya Mk III the turret is resin along with the gun barrel. A bit to go on it yet.

Looking good so far. Can't wait to see how you go about getting something dirty.

Don't forget the extra fuel tank and leave off the Bar-b-Que plates (side armour. The Aussies removed then in 'Nam, and rumour has it they were used as BBQ plates).

Very cool Lobbie, a subject we don't see much of here either.

Very nice, lobbie. Who made the resin conversion?
