The gray was RAL 7021. I use Tamiya Dark Gray with a fine overspray of Neutral Grey. Some people use Humbrol #67 with a little light blue added. I'm not sure what Testors colours are used.

Air raid bombings made a mess of formal runways, so fighters and light attack aircraft usually used grass runways during WW2. The prepared runways were reserved for the longer range bombers, and were usually well behind the fighter fields. The gun pit would definately be dug in on a grassy area.

Wildwilliam, first of all, thanks for your time to give your opinion.
I think you are right about the color, what Rlm number do you know?
The question of the terrain is ,the aerodrome is total in concrete?,or simple groud made of normal grass and dirt? or mostly concrete with grass surronding?
The gun and vehicles are 1/48 also,I can give you the site of both.
Thanks again, hope to ear from you again

Pedro,
i was not going to answer since i am not an expert,
but since no one else has replied, i will give you what i have:
i believe (there's a reassuring thought!) that at the time of Battle of Britain,
the grey would have been the most likely base color for the Flak.
i don't think the dunkelgelb was common until around '43.

i am not sure what you mean w/ the rubble part of your question.

if the Stuka is 1/48, what scale are the vehicles & gun?
also 1/48, or 1/35?
if they are 1/35, are you doing a 'forced perspective' w/ the plane in the back ?

I want to make a dio about a german aerodrome in france ww2(Battle of Britain),and put a kubelwagen,Opel Blitz fuel tanker and a 20mm flakvierling 38.
I think the vehicules are in panzer gray, but the 20mm flak?
If i make the ground in concrete and rubble is right ,or is better doing in rubble only?
The plane will be a 1/48 Stuka, and the figures Dragon Luftwaffe crew.
Thanks in advance for your help
