Progress on the M10 (PICS)
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 6:42 AM
Here are some progress pictures on my Academy M10. Very nice build with few problems. Just some cosmetic things left. I am going on vacation for a week, so she'll be on the shelf for a while. Any way here she is so far. Comments are welcome. Smile [:)]

Need to touch up those wheels Smile [:)]

All the tool outlines are now goneWink [;)]

Again some touch up on the road wheels Big Smile [:D]

Gota make the interior nice and dirty! Evil [}:)]

Like I said still a lot of cometic touch ups to do, but I am making progress!

Yes, Capt. Caveman, I need to do touch ups all over. I was thinking of putting another tarp over the .50cal, thats why that looks done, but another coat of OD (a little lighter) is in order. Thanks for the kind words Joe!

Rich,

Impressive job. You are tempting me to start my M-36. Why did you cover the turret? Is the interior not accurate or something?

Thanks Dwight, I covered the turret because I broke the sight off the main gun. I went to re-attach it and ended up, messing up the whole gun (long story short)

That's a relief. I thought there is something wrong with the interiors. Problems that could have been carried over to the M-36 (it is from Academy too right?). I wanted to really build my M-36 with an open top so I was worried.

Thanks.

Hattals, your preliminary pic's look real good. I agree with the small critiques on the overspray, but everything else looks very promising. be sure and keep us posted on the progress of your build. semper fi, mike
