Could it have been one of the many variants of the Dingo?

Ok DUKE here's the desciption again as i know it. the vehical was used in Palistine before and during WW2 and after by a british unit. It was a two man lightly armored vehical with a fixed turret with a small caliber gun. from the desciption it was not a machine gun but a very small caliber gun. one man faced forward and one man faced rear. the vehical could be changed direction by trasfering control between the two men. it was wheeled and not tracked. Sarge saw this vehical in Europe in 1948 when the British unit was returning to England. they stopped over in Europe to participate in war games before returning home to England. I don't know if the vehical was issued to them or if if was a field modification or a field built vehical. Is there mabey a branch of the Britsh goverment or military that might know of this if you folks are lost for info? Thanks once again for any help you can give me

more info on that British mystery tank. . Sarge saw it in Europe in 1948 when the Brits were returning home from Palistine and did some wargames with the US troops. He said those British troops had been in Palistine since before WW2 started and were just then coming home. so whether it was something they had issued to them, was something they got over there or was something they captured we have no idea. Thanks once again for any help
