petbat, I'd be very interested in getting as many pics as possible of Serbian T55 tanks. I sent you an e-mail, hope you find it.

Hysterical, Edog Big Smile [:D]

I didn't realize that was exactly the way you were going to make it, (burnt) I was only kidding aorund.
"Model" magazine #4 - has a whole Iraqi Freedom issue. They show a knocked out T-55 - "The Lions Death" - I've seen it somewhere else on the web but can't remember where. (They also had a burnt-out M1 - such nerve! )

That is agreat site for exactly what you're doing. Thanks for the link.

Petbat,
Thanks again for the pictures

Where would one order one of those Mig production sets? How much do they cost?

Thanks Build22. There are some great ideas at those sites. In fact my inspiration is coming from an article from another magazine. Here are some pics of the author’s final build (I hope FSM does not mind):

I am not going to kid myself and hope for a build half as good as this gentlemen did, but it really has gotten me pumped up for a T55 build.

petbat, thanks a mill for those photos, they are great!!

Edog,

You may have this one - but it is good - shows routing of fuel hoses for exterior tanks (if you care)

But here's a kit to give you the best portrayal of Iraqi armor

Petbat, I thank you for the offer, but I am not really interested in the T55 Enigma. I want to try to keep the T55 builds pretty much out of the box and mainly want to know which hatches to use and what kit accessories to put on the turret. Some color schemes would also be great. I am very interested in the Serbian, Slovakian and Czech pics though, so I will drop you my email address if you don’t mind.

Of course as soon as I posted this thread, I was browsing through some of my bookmarked sights, and look what I found:

http://tanxheaven.com/t55ng/t55ng.htm

pics of a captured T55 from DS and lots of other T55s. But you can never have enough reference pics, and I would still love to see some war pics of abandoned, or destroyed T55s.

Thanks again Peter!!

Eric. I have about 80 walk around pics of the Iraqi T55 Enigma from a now defunct site. Would these help? Just a few too many to post here! Drop me a line with what you want and I'll send some. If you want all of them I'll have to send a series of emails.

I also have pics of Serbian, Slovakian and Czech T55's too. And guess what.......... I don't even have one T55 kitClown [:o)]

If anyone else wants them, drop me a line quick. I can add a few email addresses at the same time.

Online T55 resources

So I have two of the Tamiya T55s now and I was wondering if there are any resources dealing specifically with Iraqi T55s. I did a quick google search and got few results that helped me. Does anyone know of online photo albums with lots of pics of Iraqi tanks? I want to know which configuration I should be building the T55 in and what colors to use. Thanks for any help.
