Wink [;)]

As soon as I get some pics I will start posting images and additional pages (hint hint!)

I actually did get some images in the ol Yahoo in-box (John's howitzer diorama), but didn't have time to do any html this weekend -- I'll slap em on tonight.

Is there something there ? or does this site require some specific browser settings ?

Thanks John, I haven't gotten a single photo submission yet! Laugh [(-D]

Just to clarify this, there's really no need to write anything. A couple of photos are fine. Didn't some of you fellas already post pictures in the GB? Not to push or anything ....Whistling [:-^]

my two builds are on the home stretch.
i will try to wrap them up soon and get you some pics.

Ed, sounds good -- I look forward to seeing them. I can't access yahoo mail from work, but it would be nice to get home and find a bunch of photos waiting for me in that yahoo mail account!

Feel free to do either. Which ever works for you. As long as the pics are right there at the url. Also give me what name you want me to use.

Not necessarily, just some hints on building it up, and even then, only if you feel like it.

For instance, I'll probably suggest some aftermarket pieces I used, and may identify the pitfalls of the AFV Club kit as well as the Mack NO.

You know, "I realized I should have put piece A on first, not piece B like the instructions said." Or, "I put this piece on backward." Be careful because the instructions aren't too clear on this." That kind of thing.

Towed Gun Website

Guys, I am putting up a website dedicated to the Towed Gun Group Build. It will be here:

http://towedgun.tripod.com

There's nothing there now but a placeholder with the introduction page.

I've also set up an e-mail account,

towedgun@yahoo.com

If you would like images of your build-up on the site, please email them to me. I'm not going to take images from the thread, as I don't want any confusion about posting ohers images. E-mailing them to me would be the perfect way to let me know you want them posted!

Also let me know your name, or, if you prefer, your FSM handle. I also encourage you to sit down and write some advice on the kit build-up so as to pass the knowledge onto other modelers who might happen upon the site. You don't have to do the text part now, I can always add it later. Or you can just skip it and send the pics.

It's not a big deal if you are not done yet. I'm not! As long as you biult during the group build and had the intention of being in it, that's good enough for government work.

Send those pictures!

In-progress pics are fine too, but depending on available space, I may have to reduce them in size or eliminate them eventually. I'll try to be diplomatic about that. Same goes for really huge images of build-ups. They should be no bigger than to fit on the average joe's screen. I can resize them so they fit, but be aware that I'll do so.
