Accurate Armour trakpax?

Anyone out there ever used these things? I have some and am pondering whether I want to use them or not. Any modeling stories to share on their construction?

It occurs to me that a length of bendable treads might be great to fit around a given section of wheels, but then it comes to drooping over the return rollers, it might be hard to get a convincing pairing. Thoughts? I'm ever on the quest to make treads that are realistic and easy to build!

I have used resin tracks before and while construction can be frustrating, they do look good when completed. I used a hair dryer to heat the tracks and then I bent them around the wheels and pressed them down on top of the return rollers. Track sag wasn't a problem while the resin is warm. Another way to heat up the tracks is to use hot water. However a hair dryer worked best for me. A word of caution: Don't use an open flame! This will only make the resin and plastic parts of the kit look like they have been exposed to flames.

My mate brought this up a while back.

He had a fair bit of trouble putting them on, particularly around the drive sprocket, and found the heating difficult, but they certainly looked nice. He didn't have to deal with sag though, as skirts covered the tops up.

Larry,

I like them alot. They are completely different from any other type system but once you get used to them - they work nice.

Troubles I have had
- alot of cleaning of excess material ( only on one pair so far )
- If suspension is workable - it does make it a little tougher to get them on
