I am building it right now , it's a nice kit parts fit well. I am having issues with the R/C I think I got a bad transmiter. But I highly reccomend the kit. Just got the 1/16 Tiger yesterday:) it looks awesome and dwarfs the 1/35

Hey GT351,

I would merely improve on it with an aluminum barrel and some Fruilmodel tracks. The stock tracks are rubber and needless to say, are inferior.

Hey GT351,

I also have that kit. I built it and went with the standard German grey though, and I want to go back and change the whole thing. The kit itself is great. I would merely improve on it with an aluminum barrel and some Fruilmodel tracks. The stock tracks are rubber and needless to say, are inferior.

GT351, Welcome.
It's a nice kit, well designed. It got me back into modeling after a 25 year hiatus. I still haven't finished it, I'm bogged down with weathering. This is supposed to be Otto Carius' original Tiger I after a hard winter. Plenty more damage to be done as well as more detail. Still pushing the whitewash around as well.

You can get it here for around $75 US. It's well worth it at that price. There's no working suspension, but the motors respond well and the turret traverse is pretty cool. Compared to the 1/16 it seems toyish, but I still like it.
Keep us posted on your decision. There's a link to a quick flick of it in my signature.

I have never tried it, but one of our members ausf speaks highly of it. Maybe he will drop in and tell you all that you want to know about it.
