Posted by rebelreenactor on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 12:09 AM
Hi guys,
Here is My contribution the the #2 Weekend GB. The Kuble is from academy's WWII ground vehicles set as are the accesorries. the stretcher is from a revell JU-55 and the figs are from a Preiser German Luftwaffa set. ( I have a lot of airplane stuff![:0]Disapprove [V]) The base on the dio is Plaster of Paris and and some Static Grass. Finished it all in 3 days, including the dio.
Comments and Critisism Welcome, Please.
P.S. Sorry for those Blurry pics.

Oh, and the Title of the Dio is BROTHERS, 3 brothers 1 from the luftwaffa and another who drives the Kuble and the other just a ??? dont know yet) getting their picture taken to send home While a battle hardend friend watches.

Good job, John. Interesting how you can whip up something like that in a weekend. Reminds me of my M1.

Thanks dwight. Almost forgot, Hardest part about this thing was making the red cross circles, took me three times to get it right. My template I had origianally wanted to use, couldn't get up past the fenders.
Also, I weathered with a pencil and burn sienna was.

So it can be done? A model can be built in under 6 months. LOL Nice to see something a bit different John, thanks for sharing.

Wow. Three days John? Good stuff. I got half my Kubel built over the weekend, and you achieve that!

Very neat little build. This is 1/48 scale, correct?
Only thing I could comment on is painting the sides of the dio black, if you're not going to laminate them. Unfinished wood has such an...unfinished...air about it. Other than that, very nice job.

Wow, nice job!
As Zokissima said, if you tidied up the sides of the base a bit, it would make it even better.

Thanks for the comments guys. The scale is 1/72. As for Painting it black, I thought about it and might do that or I might stain it. And yes Tigerman, I found it interesting too, but A model can be built in under 6 months.
