Since I couldn't get an answer from those Censored [censored] over in diorama, I wanted to know if anyone had a suggestion for a Afrika Korps Tiger I diorama.

As long as you're building an early, You should be aqble to find a lot of info through Google. The 501st Heavy Panzer Division were the first, I believe, to get the Tiger there in Tunisia. A search on either one should get some good pics.

Since I am one of the jackholes over in dioramas who didn't answer your original question, here are some suggestions: A refueling / rearming scene, track / wheel repair, meal time (I have a nice photo of a 501st tiger crew at lunch), gun cleaning time, a stop at the water hole, photo shoot of cat and crew next to a victim's wrecked vehicle, engine repair / replacement, disabled and abandoned in a mine field......Hope this helps.

Check out 'Tiger I on the Western Front' by Restayn. Great shots in there. Even pics of the Bovington Tiger (131) captured in Jebel Jaffa.

This is obvious, but check out all the ref pix you can of Tigers in Africa. You're bound to find an interesting scene that you'd like to build.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] There is a great shot in one of my books, with a tiger crew talking to a guy with his camel. It looks like they are makeing some kind of bargin.
