Trumpeter 1/16 T-34/85 (both versions) on the shelves! (In Japan)

Howdy, folks! Smile [:)]
Stopped in at the LHS today, and saw that they had both versions of Trumpeter's new 1/16 T-34/85, on sale for 13,000 yen (about $118 USD).

I'm a T-34/76 fan myself, and already have the '42 Model, but I thought you T-34/85 fans out there would like to know that the new kits are indeed out now.

Any sightings elsewhere?

Brian, any word on Trumpeters KV-1 that I heard about awhile back. I definately want it as long as Trumpeters kits continue to improve.

The 1/35 KV-1? I've only seen it in their catalogue so far.
Trump's pretty good about making what they announce, so I reckon we'll see it one day!

Do they have an estimated release date? Hopefully before Christmas.

In the 2004-2005 catalogue, it just says "NEW." No hint as to when!

Yes, I too can't wait for the KV-1. It's been announced for a long time now, but I don't suspect seeing it soon. That, and their Karl Morser should be out by the end of summer, begining of fall.

That would be about right for me. I won't be jumping on it right way anyway.

This is not directly related to the T-34/85 but here is a link to the instruction sheet of the 1/16 Trumpeter T-34/76 1943:

http://pmms.webace.com.au/reviews/vehicles/trumpeter/tr00903inst01.htm

Hope it gives you an idea how detail it is. I think the T-34/85 has the same hull and engine spure parts(?) but certainly different turret parts.

Whoa...over 735 parts and a fully detailed interior...that would be soooo much fun to work with. Price is a bit steep but looks like it's worth every penny....

Cool!
Sorry if my less-than-informed answers were of no help!

not to be a total goofus,
but how on earth can PMMS put a 'copyright' on the image of Trumpeter's instructions?

in any case, very nice to see the instructions.
cool kit, but it won't be coming to my closet any time soon!

J-Hulk & Anthony - thanks for the info!

I've been giving some serious thought to tackling a 1/16 kit but won't likely attempt it until after the Stug GB is done. It would certainly keep me busy for a while, just have to talk my financier into it. Big Smile [:D]
