The L/70 is a longer barreled gun, same as used on the Panther. The early version had a shorter 75mm PakL/48

Early versions of the Jagdpanzer IV L/70 used unmodified Panzer IV running gear, later versions had the first set of bogies replaced with steel rimmed road wheels and had only 3 return roller instead of 4. The L/70s also used the vertical flame-dampening exhaust pipes, the earlier L/48s used the standard early version Pz IV muffler.
