MSN..Yahoo Voice Chat.
Posted by Moses on Monday, July 26, 2004 11:57 AM
Being apart of ww2modelmaker, we use Yahoo Voice Chat to pass along tips and or just talk about the hobby, etc. I know I have ShermanFreak, Renarts, and Eric on my MSN and when I was fairly active all those months ago, it was a good place to pass on some useful information. I think it would be good to get to know some members better and use MSN or Yahoo Voice Chat to help with the hobby..instead of email correspondence. Especially with the Build Groups etc.

If anyone is interested, post your MSN and Yahoo accounts.

My MSN is : moses96thid@hotmail.com
My Yahoo is: rob_riviezzo

i am not sure if i can use it thru sbc/yahoo.
never tried. so i don't know how it 'works'
but i wonder if it's the kind of thing that the office firewall,
internet big brother would put the kibosh on.

Most of the time I pop on the forums when I have a spare moment and have MSN listed in my profile. Have a mic stashed here somewhere....the tricky part is that I also use MSN for work communication since I work in Mexico but live in the US so I may be logged in but unable to do voice comms all the time. wildwilliam, depends on your office proxy settings, but most places don't allow things like MSN.
Anywhoo, I'm not really one for voice-chat, never found it appealing, and I don't frequent my MSN often enough to actually be able to have a meaningful conversation with anyone Smile [:)]

well, a while back there was a VERY pointed email abt
AOL instant messages & the like. [:0]
i would bet they would have a rather dim view of voice chat.

J-Hulk - Moses will be putting waffle zim on my Stug. Big Smile [:D]Tongue [:P]

Well J-Hulk I have been finishing up my Tiger I Mid Pro I had posted ages ago. So that should be posted very soon with homemade Zim. Then there is the King Tiger which I used to show everyone how to do the technique. That poor guy has been sitting in a a box for almost a year completely built (Tracks and all) just waiting to come to life with paint Sad [:(] I think he hates me now, especially since he got so much attention there for a while Smile [:)]

Anyway, my next Zim project will most likely be 2 fold..another Tiger I and a Panzer IV. I was approached a while ago about doing an Article for ww2modelmaker.com on how to apply the Zim. Now that I am back in the swing of things I am waiting to hear back from Gerard the site owner on when to begin.

Cheers

Mo
