Nice job Moonwoka. I would like to see you build one in 1/35 scale. Nice camo job.

Nice build. I don't know how you small-scale guys don't go blind.

I'm not sure why thumbnail appears every time, I edit the post (actually save without any changes), but shortly after dissapears Evil [}:)]. This is my second armour kit, the first being 1/35 scale KB-85, made by some Soviet toy factory (I'm not sure neither about the scale, nor the age, I was then). I intentionally chose relatively simple kit with simple camo. While I understand perfectly that my skills, both building and finishing, need to be improved, I'm still pleased, how it turned out. Nice looking kit, just needs a little drybrushing to help enhance it.

Hey Bill,

I can see, that You did some scratchbuilding. Your kit sure looks more impressive (or
maybe the grass on the other side of the street is greener Shy [8)] ).

Thanks. I am one of those, called "anglophiles" (if that's the correct word Big Smile [:D] ), so the choice came itself, when I saw the kit. It is a reboxing of Hasegawa, so assembly was smooth, almost without filler. It is quite basic kit with simplified gear - halfs of the wheels are molded together with sideplates of the hull. I think, I overdid the weathering (Humbrol gunmetal and silver pencil) a bit, but it still looks acceptable to me. I am very pleased, how the black wheeldiscs came out. By accident Blush [:I] - I thinned paint too much, but after the first coat dried, I decided that it looks better than I could have expected, so black ones are painted with single coat.

Hey, a nice neat build, Moonwoka. A handsome choice too -- not a great tank, but a nice-looking one, and it did get the job done.

Good job. Thanks for sharing the pic.

Revell Crusader (pics)
Posted by moonwoka on Friday, July 30, 2004 2:24 PM
This is Revell 1/72 scale Crusader, that i have finished couple of months ago. It is built without any aftermarket stuff or scratchbuilding (except of antenna wires, made of stretched sprue). My mother, looking at it, said - I like this aircraft more (it was Bulldog, a training aircraft, that I made without any weathering), this one (i.e. Crusader) looks sooo messy Sigh [sigh]
