Great stuff Dave. Just finishing a T-34/85 myself. The weathering/whitewash looks fantastic; I bet you had a lot of fun doing it!

Dave,
looks great!
the only thing i see, and it may be the angle of the photo,
is that there is a patch on the left side just in front of the headlight
that seems to have no whitewash at all.

very solid build and great winter camo!

Awesome job. How did you do the whitewash, looks very realistic.

Very nice whitewash and weathering...just need the tracks and it will look like it rumbled right off the battlefield. Planning a dio for this one? Thumbs Up [tup]

Aww thanks everyone for your nice comments..

I still have a little ways to go with it yet, ill start on the tracks soon and im planing a dio, does ne1 have any ideas for me? I was thinking maybe a swampy russian battle field.

In regards to how i did the whitewash it was pretty simple. First i painted the t34 in dark green from tamiya acrylics range, I then used some heavily thined white with a tiny amount of dark green added to it , i air brushed this on in a liberal random kind of fashion. I then got and old stiff brush and using the same white/dark green mix i dabbed on the white, you can then add all of the xtra bits of weathering and detailing from there. The trick is to not too much white.

once again thanks all

Dave
