Having had a look at the survivors set, and currently using some of the Tamiya figures, I would consider having them out of direct line of sight from each other. This would develop tension between the advancing Russians and the isolated and escaping tankers. Take a good long lok at the Russian poses, they can quite easily be used to show different types of poses, and you may want to use all of them. I am only using 5 of mine. Try and just pick the figures that are helping you show what you want, otherwise it can get very crowded, and the focus will be lost.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Whenever folks ask about ideas for dioramas, I always suggest spending some time looking through as much reference material as possible. There are literally thousands of pictures available on the Internet alone, and there's bound to be something that strikes your fancy as a scene you'd like to recreate in a diorama.

I know that's probably not exactly the answer you're looking for, but I do believe it would be the most rewarding for you.

Check the positions of your figures. Unless it is OK with you to reposition or modify the figures to suit your diorama. Otherwise to avoid major work on the figures and still make them fit into the diorama, use their current positions and imagine all possible scenarios where they will fit into.

For example if you want to portray a surviving crew of a German Panther (probably ambushed by the T-34) scampering away being pursued by the T-34 then I would assume that the Russian tank riders would be already walking along side the T-34 or some are still hiding/left behind. I don't think the Russian riders would stay on top of the T-34 when it is engaging a Panther.

Good luck.

a city dio would look good. even though soldiers did ride tanks, they probaly got off in a city to clear buildings, and tanks are "sitting ducks" in a city. maybe a forest would look good for a eastern front dio

I have some components for a diorama that i want to build, but i dont know how to show them, maybe you guys could help me.

I have dragons t-34/76 mod.1941, the tamiya russian tank riders set and dragons surviors panther crew.

What are your ideas? I was thinking something like the urssians jumping off the tank and chasing away the germans, the only thing is...should it be in a city a field, attacking a bunker, a trench or what! So manny options i cnat decide, also i dont know what would be accurate.
