New OIF Pictures and walk arounds
Posted by dbusack on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 11:45 AM
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have put up new walk arounds and new pictures from OIF.

The new walk arounds include:
M978 Fueler
M1081 LVAD
ATEC AT422T
M75

The OIF Pictures are divided up into the specific vehicle types.

Go to http://www.primeportal.net and then go into either "what's new" or under the sections, "The Battlefield".

One that I like is under the M1081 section. There are a couple pictures of war zone thinking in action. They did a simple up armor on the truck with sandbags and plywood.

Thanks for the link. Some very good pics in there. I've had some problems finding the M978 from Italeri, but I finally found one, so this will be a good thing to have.

I've got more pictures for the M978 that will be going up shortly that include inside the panels that were sent to me by a friend.

Keep an eye on the page, I have another 12 GB of OIF and Afghanistan pictures to put up yet!

The 12GB is just the start of it. I have a friend in Afghanistan right now who is going to start shipping me a disk or two a week of pictures from over there. So far the ones I have gotten from him have a lot of good shots of choppers and planes, but not a lot of ground units. It will be interesting to see what else comes in.

BTW, I just upgraded the walk arounds on all but 2 of them to the full resolution shots (for most that is 2560 x 1920).

If there is anything in particular you would like to see, let me know and I will try my best to make it happen.
