Posted by Dwight Ta-ala on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 8:45 PM
While doing some searches on the Battle of the Bulge, I stumbled upon this site which told many funny stories about incidents that happenned during the Battle of the Bulge from both the American and German sides.Big Smile [:D]

Warning! Some jokes are quite OFFENSIVE as they tackle issues about casualties. So if you feel you are sensitive to issues about casualties, please REFRAIN from reading this post and indicated link.

Some good stories in there. You could feel the action in the turret of the King Tiger. Just goes to show you how tough it was.

I wish my late uncle had been able to share his stories from the Bulge with others.

I particularly like the story about an American Capt. with a carbine causing the entire German armored contingent to a hault for quite some time.
