Chi Ha updated pics
Posted by cplchilly on Thursday, August 5, 2004 3:27 AM
Well heres some updated pics for your veiwing enjoyment. I scratch built the palm and I dont think it came out to well and will probably make another for it. I used super sculpy and accidently left it in the oven too long (2 hours to long). I gotta give it another coat of dullcoat to seal everything up. Tell me what you guys think.http://img1.photobucket.com/albums/1003/cplchilly/?action=view¤t=billsmodels058.jpg

Looks good to me. My suggestion on the palm is you may want to add more leaves.

Looks good, but I think Dwight may have a good suggestion.

Very nice. If anything, a light misting on the road and lower portions to kind of 'tie-in' the tank to the groundwork.

Looks good!
I concur with the advice given by the distinguished gentlemen above.

Is that an M-60 kit box it's sitting on?

Yeah J-Hulk it is got it on ebay with a couple of other ones and gave it to my youngest son. The flag is regular unquilted tissue although it is actually a little on the course side though its hard to tell in the pics.

Just one comment Bill! Wheres the coconuts? Actually two comments! Read the recipe before you stick your tree into the oven, you're lucky you didn't come out with charcoal instead of a palm tree. Other then those harsh criticizems it all looks great. semper fi, mike

I just bought the Tamiya Chi Ha. Is that what you used? If so, how was the kit?

Its actually the Fujimi 1/76 scale kit. I've had a long time and decided to throw it together. I've also made a new tree and had the gardener take out the old one. Thanks tigerman I'm trying to get a base together and plan on shrub root hunting this weekend as this is a Normandie Tiger I plan on doing some simple hedgerows for it. Semper Fi Mike!
