I also use a acrylic retarder from Liquitex. Are you using the retarder in the acrylics for drybrushing purposes or straight painting purposes? When doing brush paining with acrylics on a kit or figures I always use a wet pallete from Winsor Newton. It keeps your acrylic paint (Vallejo, Tamiya, Polyscale, etc.) wet for days.

Cheers

Hey gang,

I am really enjoying getting back into modelling. I am using a combination of Gunze Sangyo and Tamiya acrylics. Preferably the Tamiya's. I keep hearing about this acrylic retarder, but live in the back "desert" of AZ and there is no local HS or arts and crafts store here. Any one know where I can get off net.
