It's not too surprising considering how much wild terrain there is on the Eastern Front in particular. Lots of empty spaces where things could get overgrown and disappear relatively quickly and still stay somewhat preserved. Every now and then you will hear stories of aerial surveys finding unusual magnetic or radar readings while mapping and it turns out to be an abandoned hulk like this one.

Be interesting to see if someone shells out the Euros for it, it would be a shame to see it turned into razor blades.

Apparently this was found in Russia this year (or last year?). Amazing that it still has the zimmerit on it.

Oh boy would I love to drive that thing through the closest gated community! I could imagine all the soccer moms in their SUV's shrieking in horror as they realize they dont have the biggest vehicle on the road anymore! As I crush their puny Excursions and Suburbans under my uber-detailed tracks, my son peers out of the commanders cuppola, MG42 in hand, and gives them all the finger....ahhhhh I love daydreaming.

Weathering is a bit heavy, but appears to be a nice effort considering
the age of the kit . Not quite Tamiya standards, but it ought to take a
"Bronze".Big Smile [:D]

That's actually pretty cheap considering how rare these things are nowadays...no telling how much you'd have to put into it for restoration though. It looks a little worse for wear...

I can just imagine that sitting in the driveway...would certainly keep the skateboarders away. Big Smile [:D]

Are you sure it would fit in the garage? I don't know about the claim of 100% complete. Looks like a few pieces are missing. Still, it might keep our pesky neighbors in line.
