hi tigerman,
the sequence went like this:
1)pre-shading (in this case flat black)
2)Base colour (a mixture of dark green, flat white, & touch of nato green!)
3)Camo ( red/brown with dark yellow stripe) airbrushed
4)buff (for dust on tracks etc)
5)detail paint(shovels etc) + decals
5b)clear lacquer seal (be very subtle with this, dont over spray, just a touch)
6)wash (Sepia for panel lines, bolts, barrel end, smoke dischargers etc, + burnt umber/sienna oil mix for larger panel areas) all brushed on
7)dry brush (normal dry brush technique, with 2 to 3 mixes of flat white for all colours)
8)pastel chalks for exhaust stains, rust etc. (mixed with little water and wash-up liquid)
9)final buff spray (or desert yellow if panzer, or sepia if other tank, to tie in all colours)
10)pencil detail (chips, metal work etc)hope this gives a guide
regards
Dave
