Duke,

How many completed items in your Red Army again? Big Smile [:D] This could be a very impressive photo gallery, more pics!

I have 41 pictures total in my Gallery in this computer, a couple of which are duplicates. That includes some captured vehicles and Lend Lease tanks. I have 46 total models of Red Army equipment, which includes softskins and artillery.

Oh man, that means I have to take more pictures! [:0]

I'll post some more pics later today! Wink [;)]Approve [^]

Well, here are some more of my Russian Armor. Remember, these are all in 1/72 scale. I continue now with my representation of the Braille Scale Modelers of FSM. Cool [8D]

These are my three Stalins:

JS I:

JS 2

JS 3

Here are two KV's:

My T-55

And two of my Self Propelled guns:

A little later, and I should have more pics of some more stuff.

Enjoy!

Our first Swedish member? Cool.

Derek, how was the build on the IS-3? My Trumpeter experience wasn't pleasant. I hope their upcoming KV-1 is a winner.

well here mine are;

my trumpeter 1/35 t-72, my first armour model. i like to forget it and think my churchill was my firstDisapprove [V], but truth be told, this one is. the glue did not stick to the plastic end everything was a bad fit. with a paint job this would look better, i may one day.

and that evil vinle tubing that came with it, not as bad as the scud. these had more bend.

and my 1/48 SS-12 "scale board" i built last week in under 6 hours. needs paint, not sure what color to paint it, all the pictures of it have been black and white spy photos.

again more vinle tubing (bad pic, sorry) unlike the t-72, this tubing does not like to bend as muchAngry [:(!]

and to compare it's size to a 1/35 jeep and figure, the sucd in 1/48, not 1/35[:0]

and thats it for my russian armour models.

Since you want pics of Russian Armor, I'll post my collection as a representative of the Braille Scale community of FSM Forums.

This is going to be a long post with LOTS of pics!! Mischief [:-,]

Here they are, starting with:

Scouts/Armored Cars:

BRDM with ATGW:

Tanks:
T-80 MBT:

T-80U MBT:

T-80U MBT with Reactive Armor:

APC's

BMP-1 in West German markings:

BMP-1 APC:

BMP-2 Command track:

BTR 152W:

BTR 152K:

Artillery:
2S1 'Gvozdika' 122mm Self Propelled Gun:

57mm Anti-tank Gun:

152mm D-1 Field Howitzer:

Sa-13 'Gopher' Mobile SAM system in travel position:

Sa-13 'Gopher' Mobile SAM system in attack position:

And that's about a third to a half or so of my Russian Armor. I also have a compplete set of the JS-1, JS-2 and JS-3 Stalin tanks, several varieties of the KV tank, and about four versions of the T-34 among others.

I'll see about uploading them later when I have more time.

Well you asked for them! The first is a JS-3M from Trumpeter that's in progress. The second is a BMP-2 from DML that I finished about a year ago.

Great pictures Nord. You may want to post some in the Stug Group Build. That is a well worn waffle zim. Pretty good looking early Stug your car is next to. The interior shots ought to make the boys drool.

The tank did not have sag normally, I just came back from a museum in finland....

no sag.....

the same was with the ISU152...no sag...

That's really really cool. Wow, I thought it was real. What kind of gun did those things carry? It looks like it's packing a main gun of about 150mm. Great build. Congrats.

i'm gonna go with model, i think.........Confused [%-)]
