                        Folks,

                        A Dutch friend of mine told me that he served as a gunner on a Leopold IV tank in the Dutch Army during the early 1980's. I would like to build a model of this tank for him. What manufacturer makes a kit of this tank?

                        I haven't heard of a Leopold IV tank. I think he might have been referring to a Leopard 1A4 tank. If so, both Italeri and Revell of Germany make a Leopard 1A4. Actually the RoG kit is a rebox of the Italeri kit. The Italeri kit is one of their best kits. HTH.

                        I'll have to ask him about that. I coulda swore that he said Leopold IV, though. But, then again, I'm not savvy on armor stuff, so maybe he said "Leopard", and I heard "Leopold". He does have a heavy accent......... Thanks for the info.

                        I agree with Erik, Italeri's Leo 1 A4 is a great kit, have one myself. I think Tamiya had one a while back as well, but it's probably out of production.
