Yes, but mere mortals should not judge themselves against Dwight, or they may go mad and eat their own arms. Dwight goes to bed at night and when he wakes up in the morning there is a completed, painted and weathered 1/35th scale kit next to his bed, which he constructed while he sleeps.

Definitely send me your towed gun pics, Matt, as I suggested in the Dioramas thread you posted.

Excellent work phroosh on all 3! Love the whitewash on the 223 and the detail on the T-34 with it's slightly battered feel. Thumbs Up [tup]

Really nice whitewash on the 223. You said it was your first effort at that? I don't even want to remember the first time I tried it Grumpy [|(]

Thanks a lot guys. It feels really good to be coming to the end of some builds; I can see ways to improve in the future, but I am proud of them nonetheless.

The T-34 fuel drums are the kit parts, sanded of detail, attacked with a motor tool, sanded smooth and detailed with styrene and sprue. I thought quite hard about AM parts, as I posted, but I enjoyed this way a lot more, saved some dough, and know that they are 'mine"! I am in the process of painting the figures for the T-34, which I have put a lot of work into modifying to show a certain scene. I also need to put tow cables and spare tracks on there, and put some mud over some bad indy link planning!Blush [:I] Live and learn, huh?

Dio planned for the 223, too. I am 6 behind Dwight, and falling.Tongue [:P]

Thanks again.

Outstanding work mate!
Beautiful work, I love the barrels on the T-34 as well as the paint. Did you use the kit parts?

Glad to see that the Leningrad toughs didn't get to these vehicles. Wink [;)]

Matt,
they look good to me.
send your towed gun stuff to Larry_Dunn for GB site!

it may not 'be easy' making Russian green, but yours looks good.

Hi everyone,

I recently finished a couple of group builds, and wanted to share some pics; I'd love to know what you all think of them.

My small AFV:

With more pics here: http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?page=29&TOPIC_ID=17119

And my Towed Gun:

With more pics here: http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?page=47&TOPIC_ID=13984

And here is a completely unrelated T-34 I am working on:

Some of you may remember me whinging on about Russian green and dented fuel tanks(and Muppets, strangely) a while ago; well this is what I came up with.

All questions or comments much appreciated.

Thanks
