Go to a flea market or hardware store, look for a set of angel jewler file. They are small, pointed heads and will work wonders on glue slop. I have two sets I got at a flea market, didn't pay more than 3 bucks each. LOL.

Yeah, the No.11 blade, or even a chisel edge X-acto work for me. Then sandpaper.
But then again, I haven't used tube glue for decades - try something like Humbrol Liquid Poly, Tenax , Testors or Plastruct Bondene. The liquid flows in and around the parts very easily, you can apply it with a small brush and end up using only as much as you need (never too much), and you'll get better bonds with the liquid stuff than with the tube type. The Plastruct Bondene actually dries very quickly and creates a HARD bond quicker than the Humbrol, but both are great.

X acto blade or wet sand with fine sand paper if you can reach them. It sucks, I do it all the time and use a blade to get it off.

BTW... try to stay away from the tube glue, it is just too much. Use this instead, its liquid and it rocks.

Sounds like it's time for your trusty #11 exacto blade.
Have you tried using CA glues for application of parts. They're a little better to work with and certainly fuse the parts together much better too.
