Absolutely!!
I've been using spray laquers (both Tamiya and the full size automotive touch-up sprays) for years with excellent results. Just take a 2 inch length of drinking straw (I use the ones from the local McDonalds - they're larger in diameter that the ones I get from the supermarket) and just use it as a funnel to spray into your airbrush jar. Thin the paint with the appropriate thinner and spray away. Just be careful, as most acrylics are "hot", or use an acetone based reducer, which can attack styrene, sometimes crazing the plastic, sometimes warping things like wings or car bodies. Spray in light coats and you shouldn't have any problems - but it always pays to experiment a little first!! I can get glass-like shine straight off the gun using this method.

Can you use lacquer spray cans with an airbrush?
