I have some build progress pics I took while making it...finished it several months back and it's sitting in a display case in my office at work or I'd show you the truly finished look, but these give you a good idea of the level of detail it offers. I did mine as a clean cutaway.

I think that just about settles it, then. I was really suprised by the prices. I expected a Tiger with an interior to cost more.

Buff,

I did the Early because my LHS had it in stock when I was buying. As far as I know, the kits are not substantially different on the inside but don't quote me on that. Academy's full interior means just that. The prices were very reasonable as well for such a highly detailed kit. I didn't experience any major fit problems with all of the interior detail and the kit as a whole came together very nicely. It has a nice side benefit in that you can display it as a full cutaway with the upper deck and turret top removed and the turret still sets like it's supposed to. Thumbs Up [tup]

Based on your recommendations, I had a look for this kit at my LHS today, and they had two Academy Tiger 1's with full interiors, one early and the other mid/late (I think). The prices for both were great. I'm giving a whole lot of thought to making one of the those kits mine when I have a some spare cash at the end of the month.
Thanks for the tip! Thumbs Up [tup]

Is this one with the fully detailed interior? If so, you are going to love it...it's absolutely fantastic IMHO on what you can do with it and a great pleasure to build.

Has any one had the pleasure yet of building such a sweet piece.
The lines and curves is enoiugh to drop a man dead in his tracks.

Any how if any one has started or has completed this master piece please let me know what you think.

I just purchased and am really looking forward to doing my Grossvater some justice.
