Well, I'm trying, but having never build an armor kit before, it's a bit foreign to me. I think it's coming along pretty well though. There are ejector pin marks in unfortunate places, but I'm getting them taken care of for the most part. I appreciate all the help you guys are giving me. If I can get my hands on a camera I'll post some pics after a bit. It's not a great job, but it'll do for my first I think.

You're right maddafinga, that bump is the transmission housing. (the nose of the M7 isn't the transmission housing as it's often called, but houses the steering brakes and differential). As stated, it would be OD. Manufacturers recieved trannies painted in both white and OD as per thier orders. HOWEVER! It could be white if it were replaced in the field, so again, another option!

Have fun, sounds like you're doing a good job.

My one color picture shows that it is indeed OD.

Enjoy your modeling...

I would saw OD like the rest. Most open interiors are overall OD or whatever the hull color is.

Another M-7 question

Right next to the driver's position, there's a big hump, I assume it covers part of the transmission. Should this be painted od like the rest of the interior, or should it be a steel or aluminum color maybe? The only pic I can find of this thing is a modern color pic of an unprotected Priest. It's badly rusted and the color isn't reliable at all. Anyone have any suggestions?
