Right now I would go with the Revell Panther A/D (makes one of two variants) or if you can find it the Revell Panther G. Dragon makes the Panther G early, Panther G late and the Panther F.
The Revell kits are better and have link and length tracks. Downside is you have to blank off the engine grill area or else you can see the inside hull when completed.
The Dragon kits have a diecast upper and lower hull that requires metal filing to get the seam at the front edge of the hull to meet. It has vinyl tracks that are too tight and since the lower hull is metal, you can't readjust the idler wheel mount to give the proper sag. The dragon kit does have an engine insert so you can see the engine detail through the grills and some of the engine access hatches are separate so you could pose them open.
I just hated messing with the CA glue on the metal hull.
