I put the litttle bugger on a base. I wanted to simulate a Russian steppe in late summer. Pictures aren't so good but I like the effectiveness of camo.

The entire triangle is 4" long.

I'd hate to be the T-34 that gets blown up by that. They were fairly quiet correct? In that type of grass they would be hard to spot. Is the grass from a broom? Nice little dio.

Ausf, Wow, I have been following your threads on the little goliath. I got mine in the mail a couple of weeks ago and hope to start on it soon. Could you please tell us how you did the grass? It looks super and I can use it in a dio I am working on. Thanks in advance.

Also, the dragon kit I got has 2 kits in one. Not a bad deal.

Thanks guys,
The grass is bristles from those cheap paint brushes you can get in a pack of 10 for a few bucks. Set in Bindex (surprised anyone?) then, coating the tops, the shebang was dipped in dirt and pastels to make the cattails. I added some of hair to break up the pattern. Most of the detail can't be seen because of the bad pics.
I had an idea after seeing it, I'm going to assemble the engineers on another triangular base with the same ground work and put them on opposite ends of the shelf with the control cable running in between.Wink [;)]

T3488g, This was the Dragon kit, $14 US, and it comes with TWO goliaths and four engineers. It was well worth it, even though it's really small.

I still have the Monty Python knight-storming-castle scenes rolling through my head...and this dio just emphasizes it! Tongue [:P]

Great work putting this tiny monster into perspective ausf, very creative on the grass and details! Thumbs Up [tup]

Now that looks like a tiger ready to pounce! Great base, ausf, very effective. But I thought you are loading that on the BMW R75 with Sidecar. LOL.
