Old Monagram kits
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, September 5, 2004 9:25 AM
Does anyone know if Revell/Monagram are going to rerelease the old Monagram armor kits, like the Screamin' Mimi, or Hedge Hog. Those were great kits, or any idea where i could find some old ones?

Welcome to the forums Aethilmir!

Don't know about re-releases, but if you check the Revell/Monogram sites, most manufacturers announce what they've currently got on offer and what they are planning to do, maybe some insight from there could get you started.

Wouldn't that be a hoot. I built many of them and they were my dip into armor until I got a Tamiya Pak 40. Never looked back after getting that one. Welcome to the forums Aethilmir.

Aethilmir;

Contact me via my email address here. I may be able to help you with those two kits.

Cheers;

They reissued the M4A1 Screamin' Mimi calliope back in 1996-97 time frame. The German 8-wheeled armored car was reissued since then as well. I have not seen the M4 Hedgehog, M3 Lee or M3 Grant reissued since the 1980s.

The German armor ones seem to pop up more often than the US stuff.
