                        please help. i ma about to embark on a large scale model of a centurion tank in vietnam. i would like a sutiible web site so i can build a search light mount or if any one can desribe please let me know. thank you in advance.Smile [:)]

                        I think it used a big round one similar to the one that comes with the Dragon M51 Isherman.

                        I'll see if I still have the reference on this. I assume the Centurion is Australian? I think I have a couple of sources for this. Old edition of Military Modeler had a conversion to an Aussie Cent' mid 80's magazine. I will dig into the reference and see about scanning the article if it has the reference you'll need.

                        desm ! Go to Sentinel , a site dedicated to Australian , and Israeli Amour , at www.mheaust.com.au . They offer conversion kits , for 1/35, and 1/25 scale Cent's. These kits include , the modified turret roof , 100 gal. external fuel tank , newer stowage bins , for the fenders,and yes the search light. Later releases , include the turret bustle stowage basket ! I was on Centurions , in the Canadian Army. Happy modelling !
