1/35 17 pounder anti tank gun?

does anyone make this kit? i cant seem to find one on the internet. why hasn't anyone made this kit yet? the 17 pounder was probaly the best AT gunt the allies had, without it ie would not have gotton the firefly.

t3488g gets a stroke of brilliance!!! i have a old army men toy artillery/at gun that look somewhat like a 17 pounder, with some scratch building and modifications i could make this look like a pretty good model! all i need it the barrel and breech, possibly from a firefly of archillies kit.

or if someone made a kit i could prevent this idea from possibly turning into the 3rd failed scratchbuilt model.Disapprove [V]

Found this on the net.

Batlezone Miniatures Limited have just commissioned a 17-pdr gun with crew in 54 mm scale. Contact Nick West:

t3488g;

Check with Accurate Armour. They manufacture a complete 17pdr. in resin with all the trimmings. The link is

With this kit you will definitely not need to do a scratchbuild.

Cheers;

Airfix , years ago released 1/32 scale , 17 pdr. , complete with crew . I seen it unbuilt , and still in the box , and I was pleased with the moulding , and detail.This kit,is a rare find these days. The last time , I seen one , was a model show , in Calgary , several years ago. However , the price , the seller , was asking was silly . For that price , I could buy a Tamiya 1/25 scale Centurion , and then some. Be patient , maybe DML , will offer one.

never knew airfix ever made 1/32, i gusses i'll have to wait. knda funny though, you'd think there would be more out there. and i've never heard of Accurate Armor. Also what type of vehicle towed it? was it too heavy for a universal carrier?

Airfix , produced a series , of 1/32 scale vehicles . These included , the M3 (Grant and Lee Tanks ), Crusader Mk III , the 17 pdr , and I think a soft skin vehicle carring a 6 pdr AT gun ( 6 pdr " Portee" ? ). Maybe others , plus figure sets , ie " British 8 th Army ", and "Afrika Korps". I haven't seen any of there kits , in ages. As for a Gun Tractor , for a 17 pdr , no idea . At one time ,Matchbox , offered a 1/76 scale 17 pdr , and I am sure it was towed , by a truck , 15 cwt , CMP truck, perhaps.
