Wooo Hoooo! Sign me up for that one! I'll grab a Kubel this week and begin formulating my plan of action! Any more pics? I would be interested in some detailed shots of the track system. Thanks for the inspiration.

This must have been something that the germans saw some merit in! Did you notice inthe two photos you were able to find that the track systems are of two different types? Seems like maybe on the Eastern front during the winter months this could have had some application of course with the roof up. That thing would be a kick out here in our California dunes. Interesting subject Luc, I'm sure one of our more promising and imaginative scratchbuilders would love to tackle this baby. semper fi, mike

I have a shot in a book of a Kubel with a solid top with a MG turret on it! Was used for training purposes. they didn'y leave many stones unturned with their vehicle variants!

I saw one of the halftrack Kubelwagens sitting behind a Maus while I was finding reference material. Now I have good drawings and photos to make one of Herr Doctor Porche's funnies.
