Glad you guys like the pictures, more then happy to share them. I’m actually going to join the association to help restore the M16. I am heading back out today and will take a few more detail shots of the halftracks and maybe the ferret, see how many pics will fit on my ol’ digital camera

ga.retread,

It's a British/Commonwealth vehicle, built off the Daimler Scout Car chassis if I'm not mistaken.

Salem Airport Days....Armor Pictures
Posted by Model Grandpa on Saturday, September 11, 2004 9:12 PM
Today was Salem Oregon’s airport 75th anniversary. Along with the planes displayd there were a few pieces of armor. Just thought I would share them here.

First a M3 Halftrack with Quad .50 gun mount.

Inside the cab

1942 M3 Personal Carrier

1959 Ferret

I had to make a few correction on this post. I went back out to the airport today and found a few mistake. Both halftracks are M3's and the Ferret was built in 1959 not 56. Sorry for my errors, the ol' memory you know.
